Jon Mirachi
|
President/Team Manager/Driver Coach
A degree in Automotive Technology, 23 years of race driving experience, and 12 years of business training in an automotive dealership provided an excellent background for race team management. Since founding the team in 1990, Jon’s role has evolved to where his current primary responsibility in the shop is marketing programs, business development and overall management, while his role at the track is that of the team’s driver coach. Nothing gives him more pride than seeing the growth and success of the other staff members and drivers. During pit stops, Jon can be found holding the signboard and handing the front tires over the wall. When not working at racing, Jon enjoys fitness activities and is a certified personal trainer. |

Jim Pattin
|
Engineer/Gearbox Specialist
Growing up karting with his family, Jim raced karts successfully for several years which allowed him to learn the fundamentals of vehicle dynamics. He joined Racers Edge at only 18 years of age and since then has studied race car engineering to emerge as a highly skilled and race winning engineer. At the events, Jim also is responsible for the team’s pit stop strategy and during pit stops he is the driver changer. |

Sean Gill
|
Crew Chief/Chief Mechanic
Sean has a BS in Automotive Engineering and a passion for race car preparation. With this combination he is completely qualified for his position as Crew Chief, which means he’s the one responsible for the car’s overall preparation. Although fully capable of servicing any area of the car, his particular passions are brakes and engines. Sean joined Racers Edge right after college and has developed into a meticulous, thorough professional. When the car comes in for routine pit stops, you will find him changing the front tires and he’s also responsible for releasing the car after the stop. |

Colin Adams
|
Second Mechanic
Colin is a more recent addition to our staff having joined Racers Edge as a team mechanic in the fall of 2006. He is young, enthusiastic and with plenty of natural ability. In addition to his skill with the wrenches, he is also a fine fabricator and therefore the one charged with making all the parts we create to try and improve our car’s performance. At the track he works with Sean to make sure the car is always ready to go in time for a session and when it’s time for a pit stop, Colin activates the air jacks and then changes the inside rear tire. |

Shari Mirachi
|
Administration
Shari, schooled in accounting and business, keeps track of all the income and expenses as well as looking after the team’s various other administrative responsibilities. She’s Jon’s wife and has been a valuable member of the team since 1992. Over the years she’s had experience in virtually every aspect of team operations and as such is a valuable resource. When we’re at the track, Shari sets up and maintains the team’s hospitality and keeps all the crew’s equipment organized and ready. She spends her free time involved in fitness activities and is an active member of her local community. |
